The BACKPACKERS in BENGUET
Mt. Cabuyao and Mt. Sto Tomas
Mt. Pulag Induction Climb
May 19-22, 2012
In TUBA, BENGUET, we were welcomed by the astounding views of the surrounding mountains, the South China Sea and Baguio City on top of Mt. Sto Tomas after a very memorable and thrilling 'monster jeepney' ride. We were also given a chance to have a close encounter with the two radars on top of Mt. Cabuyao.

In BOKOD, BENGUET, we visited Ambuklao Dam - the biggest rock dam in Asia. We stopped by and had a film showing and orientation at the DENR office. Some of us braved one of the must-try things when strolling around the Cordilleras: jeepney toploading!

In KABAYAN, BENGUET, we reached our major goal as a group: to conquer Luzon's highest mountain: Mt. Pulag! The view of the majestic Cordilleras, the breathtaking sea of clouds, and that awesome feeling at the summit of Mt. Pulag were a real treat for all of us...something that we will forever remember for the rest of our lives!
